Converged PON 

Passive Optical Networks (PONs) utilise splitter assemblies to increase the number of homes fed from a single fibre. In a Converged PON, optical splitters
are concentrated in a single location in a Fibre Distribution Hub (FDH), from which all customer fibre connections are made. Splitter management can be
maximised to achieve full utilisation before investment in additional splitters. Sirocco® can be used throughout this network topology for cost deferment and to simplify network planning/installation.
