OAsys® Products
The Prysmian OAsys® range of connectivity products can be sub-divided into three groups based
upon their application within the network, as detailed below. All OAsys® products are designed to
ensure that they meet and exceed the optical fibre management requirements of today's most
demanding communications applications. The standard OAsys® product portfolio will provide customers
with a range of solutions to fit their current network requirements. We are constantly developing
new products and solutions aimed at solving the issues raised in different network applications and

Central Office Products
- OAsys® products for use within a telephone exchange, central office or head end of an
optical fibre network. Prysmian offers a range of different solutions for these applications with
various patching and splicing options available in this type of equipment.
External Products
- The OAsys® range of external joints has been designed for use in many different
applications and installation in a wide variety of environments. Prysmian's optical splice
enclosures have been used extensively in both underground and aerial networks around the world.
Customer Premise Products
- OAsys® products for use in business or residential premises to manage fibre cable
entry, routing and termination. Available in a range of functional types and sizes to address
customer needs, suitable for siting in various locations offering patching or splicing
